Reimagining Transport in our Cities

Bristol has big ambitions when it comes to creating a more sustainable and connected urban environment. The recent Local Election and current General Election have put a spotlight on plans for active travel, politicians have set their visions; bike hangers, dropped kerbs, and bike lanes amidst increasing support for investment from Sustrans.

Is the support universal? Can differences of opinion be reconciled between competing interests of walkers, cyclists, drivers and public transport users? What does a comprehensive active travel network look like for Bristol? And how will our lives be impacted?

Join the conversation with some of Bristol’s leading experts and campaigners to dissect the challenges and opportunities of active travel in and around Bristol.

Are you an advocate for active travel? A concerned business owner? Or simply curious about the future of Bristol’s streets? This event is your platform to engage, challenge, and contribute to the conversation. It’s time to step up or step aside—let’s reimagine our streets together!

6 O’Clock Sessions

Imagine a place where public, politicians and professionals come together to debate the future of our cities. The 6 O’Clock Sessions are home to informed civic debate – topical discussion with a twist. These sessions are participatory in nature – different opinions are welcome, heard and respectfully challenged. Just the tonic for our polarised times. Everyone welcome.
