Event Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to all services and events organised, managed, or hosted by Design West. By booking or attending an event with us, you agree to the terms and conditions set forth below.
1. Attendance: By attending this event, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. You are responsible for your own safety and well-being. Tickets must be shown on the door and we reserve the right to ask for accompanying ID.
2. Cancellation/Refunds: Design West operates a no refund policy for our events. If you are unable to attend, you may pass your ticket on to a colleague, who must give the original ticket buyers name on the door.
3. Liability: Neither Design West nor any of our partner venues are liable for any loss, damage, or injury sustained at the event.
4. Conduct: Please be respectful of others and follow the instructions of event staff.
5. Photography/Filming: We may take photos/videos during the event, and by attending, you consent to being photographed/filmed.
6. Event Cancellation: If the event needs to be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, Design West will aim to let you know as soon as possible and will review the refunds policy according to the situation.
7. Data Collection: Design West collects personal data, including your name, contact information, and payment details, to process ticket sales and for event-related communication. This information will not be shared with third parties.
8. Event Details: Design West reserves the right to amend venue and speaker details in the lead up to an event, a change in either of these will not warrant any refunds.
9. Membership: In order to qualify for the membership concession, you or your organisation must hold a valid membership with Design West.
